The only way to lower the back is by lowering it by torsionbar. The easiest way to do this is by taking out the torsionbar en twist it by a tooth. It than lowered, I believe, around the 4 cm's. The saxo/106 is lowered the same way. I did it like this on my 2 saxo's I had before I had this 306.

There is a manual how to do this, showing it on a saxo, made by a friend of mine, but it is in dutch.

You can find it on:

www.saxo16vclub.nl

Then take the header "Techniek" ==> "saxo" ==> second topic "verlagen achterkant"

I think this is what you're looking for, a FAQ of how it's been done.

Cheers.

The problem is that they are normally very stuck. You have to spray it a couple of days with oil before you begin the work on it.
